Bethlehem Olive Wood Pen with Optional Matching Case
The striking beauty of this highly figured Olive wood is only surpassed by the significance of where the wood originated.
The Olive wood in both the pen and the optional case comes from Bethlehem. No fruit bearing trees were damaged in the harvesting process, as these pieces came from fully mature trees being pruned or from trees that were no longer producing fruit. The pen comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from the Olive wood supplier.
I hand selected each piece of wood for its magnificent grain. The pen was hand-turned on a lathe to exacting specifications before being sealed and buffed. The final design not only highlights the unique character of the wood, but also provides a comfortable grip while writing.
Wood this special deserves to be mounted on special hardware. The pen is plated with 24k Gold which has been coated to give the hardware a brilliant shine and long lasting durability. The clip has a solid black enamel stripe running down the center, playing beautifully to the black grain of the Olive wood.
This handmade pen accepts Cross style ballpoint refills and comes with 1 black ink cartridge. Simply pull the 2 halves apart to reveal the ink cartridge.
