Violet & Teal Boxelder Burl Rollerball Pen with Magnetic Cap
The grain of Boxelder burl is brought to life with the double dyeing process. This handmade pen has fantastic shades of violet with hints of teal that pop through, most notably around the tighter burl sections. These areas also have their natural tan colors, adding even more interest to the already amazing natural design.
The hardware I chose for this piece is a brushed chrome rollerball set that has a magnetic cap. The softness of the metal finish really adds to the softer tones of the violet. This is one of those pens that you could look at and find something new every time. Truly a 'must see', and it feels as good in your hands as it looks.
The pen comes with a black ink rollerball cartridge that is spring loaded. This spring helps to keep the writing tip firmly in place while also ensuring you don't apply more pressure than is needed. Almost any office supply store regularly carries refills.
The pen will ship in a black drawstring pouch. Pen boxes are available for an additional charge.
